Brasile Pieter is a *specialty coffee Costadoro from the Mogiana Region, which in the espresso extractions gives a taste with notes of wine, berry compote, bergamot.

A special coffee that takes its name from its farmer: Pieter Johannes Marie Keijsers, a Dutchman who moved to Brazil in the 1990s to do an internship and became interested in agri-food. He believed in his dream and invested in coffee production in a traditional region where he purchased a property and since then he has been trying to improve the quality by implementing shaded crops and developing fermentation processes.

Brazil Pieter is produced in the Mogiana region, which stretches along the border between São Paulo and Minas Gerais, where the sweetest and most structured natural wines in Brazil are produced.

The region boasts 3,500 farmers cultivating a total area of 202,000 hectares. This is where a coffee is born that, thanks to the natural processing method, is reminiscent of the famous wine.

Umberto and Carlotta (Head of Commodity Research and Costadoro Head of Quality respectively) fell in love with this coffee in August while traveling around Brazil to discover the best coffees.
